#454 - Vagabond

     Here we have another genre I've created! This one isn't totally different from existing ones, but it's different enough, in my opinion, to not be considered just a variant.

    Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of all unshaded cells. No two adjacent regions may be visited by the loop the same number of times. A number in a region indicates how many times it’s visited by the loop.

    The answer check seems a little stricter than necessary: if you add any additional numbers (which I did to keep track of number of visits), it doesn't accept the answer until you delete them all again.

    That said, interesting genre and really good puzzle! :)

      Thanks :) Lots of people have said the same thing about the answer check so I've updated it now and will keep that in mind for future ones.

#300 - My Original Genres

     For my 300th post, I've put together a collection of example puzzles for all of my original puzzle genres. As I create more in the future, this post will get updated. I hope you enjoy!     1.  Ovotovata  (oh-VOH-toh-VAH-tuh)      Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells which visits each shaded region at least once. When the loop exits a clued region in any direction, it must travel in a straight line for exactly the indicated number of cells (turning on the Nth cell, where N is the value of the clue).      This is a Fillomino puzzle that works and has a different solve path no matter how many layers you chop off the edges.      Divide the grid into regions of orthogonally connected cells.
