#321 - Canal View

Image
Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the number of shaded cells connected in a straight line horizontally or vertically to the clue. No 2x2 region may be entirely shaded. Solve online

#320 - Yajilin

Image
Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent and draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of all the remaining empty cells. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the number of shaded cells in a straight line in the indicated direction. Solve online

#319 - Bosnian Road

Image
Shade some cells to form a non-intersecting loop which does not touch itself, not even diagonally. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the number of shaded cells in the (up to) eight cells surrounding the clue. Solve online

#318 - Aqre

Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Regions with numbers must contain the indicated amount of shaded cells. There may not exist a run of more than three consecutive shaded or unshaded cells horizontally or vertically anywhere in the grid. Solve online

#317 - 2x Tapa

Image
Here's a couple of Tapa puzzles I made as a small exercise in antisymmetry.      Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the lengths of the blocks of consecutive shaded cells in the (up to) eight cells surrounding the clue. No 2x2 region may be entirely shaded. #316 - Heyawake

Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent and the remaining unshaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Numbered regions must contain the indicated amount of shaded cells. A line of consecutive unshaded cells may not cross more than one bold border. Solve online

#315 - Tapa

#314 - Yajilin (Squares)

Image
Shade some cells so that each orthogonally connected area of shaded cells is in the shape of a square and draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of all the remaining empty cells. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the number of shaded cells in a straight line in the indicated direction. Solve online

#313 - 2x Nurimisaki

Image
Shade some cells so that the remaining unshaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. No 2x2 region may be entirely shaded or unshaded. Circles mark every instance of a cell which is unshaded and orthogonally adjacent to exactly one other unshaded cell. If a circle contains a number, it indicates how many cells are in the straight line of unshaded cells coming out of the cell with the circle, including itself. Solve online Solve online

#311 - Doppelblock

Image
Place a number from 1 to N-2 into some cells so that each row and column contains every number from that range with no repeats, where N is the side length of the grid, and shade the remaining two cells of each row and column. A clue outside the grid indicates the sum of the digits which appear between the two shaded cells in the corresponding row or column. Solve online

#310 - Moc Macek

Image
Shade some cells to form a non-intersecting path which does not touch itself orthogonally. Circles mark the ends of the path. Numbered cells cannot be shaded. Additionally, draw one or more straight arrows extending from each number. A number indicates the sum of the lengths of the arrows extending from it. Arrows may not cross each other, clued cells, or the shaded path, and all cells not used by the path must be reached by an arrow.     Note: In the online solving interface, since there are no arrows, instead draw lines from the edge of a clue to the center of a cell. Solve online

#309 - Nurikabe (Domino)

Image
Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Clues cannot be shaded, and every orthogonally connected area of unshaded cells contains exactly one clue, the value of which represents the size of the area. No 2x2 region may be entirely shaded. The shaded cells must also be able to be divided into dominoes. Solve online

#308 - Hexagony [Past Contest]

Image
Beginning on June 3rd 2021,  Jeffrey Bardon / IHNN  and I hosted a puzzle context titled Hexagony which lasted one week, consisting of 30 puzzles across 15 genres, each with one puzzle on a square grid and one on a hexagonal grid. Although the contest is now over, the puzzles can still be accessed and solved for fun! Instruction Booklet Puzzle Booklet Contest Results

#307 - 4x Mini Snake Egg

Shade some cells to form a non-intersecting path which does not touch itself orthogonally. Circles mark the ends of the path. Exactly one orthogonally connected area of unshaded cells must exist of each size from the range given outside the grid. Cells with numbers cannot be shaded, and represent the size of the area they’re in. 5x5 -  Solve online 6x6 -  Solve online 7x7 -  Solve online 8x8 -  Solve online
