#444 - Country Road, Balance Loop, Disorderly Loop, & Midloop Mash-Up

Image
Here's another big loop genre mash-up!     Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells so that the rules of each genre are met.     Country Road (Top left):     Each Country Road region must be passed through exactly once.  A number in a region represents how many cells in the region are visited by the loop. Orthogonally adjacent cells in different Country Road regions may not both be unused.     Balance Loop (Top right):     The loop must pass through each circle.  The straight line segments coming out of a white circle must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a black circle must have different lengths. A number in a circle represents the sum of the lengths of these two line segments.     Disorderly Loop (Bottom left):      Clued cells may not be used by the loop. Clues represent the lengths of the next N line segments appearing in t...

#373 - Disorderly Loop

Recently I went on a genre-inventing spree, and now I have three more finalized ones that I'm ready to share, the second being Disorderly Loop!     Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells. Clued cells may not be used by the loop. Clues represent the lengths of the next N line segments appearing in the loop, not necessarily in order, starting with a line in the cell adjacent to the clue in the direction of its arrow and moving in the direction of the arrow, where N is the amount of numbers in the clue. #300 - My Original Genres

Image
For my 300th post, I've put together a collection of example puzzles for all of my original puzzle genres. As I create more in the future, this post will get updated. I hope you enjoy!     1.  Ovotovata  (oh-VOH-toh-VAH-tuh)      Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells which visits each shaded region at least once. When the loop exits a clued region in any direction, it must travel in a straight line for exactly the indicated number of cells (turning on the Nth cell, where N is the value of the clue). Regions with numbers must contain the indicated am...
