#444 - Country Road, Balance Loop, Disorderly Loop, & Midloop Mash-Up

Image
Here's another big loop genre mash-up!     Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells so that the rules of each genre are met.     Country Road (Top left):     Each Country Road region must be passed through exactly once.  A number in a region represents how many cells in the region are visited by the loop. Orthogonally adjacent cells in different Country Road regions may not both be unused.     Balance Loop (Top right):     The loop must pass through each circle.  The straight line segments coming out of a white circle must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a black circle must have different lengths. A number in a circle represents the sum of the lengths of these two line segments.     Disorderly Loop (Bottom left):      Clued cells may not be used by the loop. Clues represent the lengths of the next N line segments appearing in t...

#431 - Haisu / Balance Loop Hybrid

Image
Draw a non-intersecting path through the centers of all cells, starting from the S (start) and finishing at the G (goal). Each numerically clued cell must be traveled through on the path’s Nth visit to the region the clue lies within, where N is the value of the clue.  The straight line segments coming out of a white circle must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a black circle must have different lengths. #425 - Balance Loop

Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells that passes through every circle. The straight line segments coming out of a white circle must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a black circle must have different lengths. A clue in a circle represents the sum of the lengths of these two line segments. Solve online

#266 - Moon or Sun / Balance Loop Hybrid

Image
Jeffrey Bardon / IHNN  recently challenged me (in a sense) to create three variants or hybrids from his December 2020 daily streak, and I did it! Here's the second one, a hybrid between Moon or Sun and Balance Loop. His can be found  here .      The first puzzle from this challenge was a  hybrid between Nurikabe and Araf , and the third was a  hybrid between Kakuro and Kropki .      Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells which passes through each region exactly once. Within a region, the loop must pass through all moons and no suns, or all suns and no moons. A region containing only suns or only moons must have its clues passed through. The loop may not pass through the same type of clue in two consecutively used regions.  The straight line segments coming out of a sun must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a moon must have different lengths. Solve on...

#227 - Nurikabe-Like Loop / Balance Loop Hybrid

Image
Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells so that the rules of both genres are met.      Nurikabe-Like Loop:      Every orthogonally connected area of cells not visited by the loop contains exactly one of the uncircled clues, the value of which represents the size of the area.     Balance Loop:     The loop must visit every cell which contains a circle.  The straight line segments coming out of a white circle must have equal length, while the straight line segments coming out of a black circle must have different lengths. A number in a circle represents the sum of the lengths of these two line segments. Solve online
