#380 - 5x Mini Cross the Streams
Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. No 2x2 region may be entirely shaded. Clues outside the grid represent the lengths of the blocks of consecutive shaded cells in the corresponding row or column, in order. A question mark represents one block of an unknown number of cells. An asterisk represents any number of blocks of shaded cells, including none at all.
Another new one for me, took a few minutes each. There are so many connected-shaded-cells-with-no-squares genres, I am sure we're due a LITS-Nurikabe-Cross the Streams-etc. mashup at some stage... (DL-T, who has finally figure out how to not be "Unknown")
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice base ruleset! Usually a connected group of shaded cells with no 2x2s is called a "wall". I have made a four-genre mash-up of these before, but would definitely be open to making more!

Still looking forward to making more hybrids / mash-ups in the future! 👍
Oh that's so cool! Off I go to give it a go.
