#144 - LITS, Tapa, Canal View, & Irunuri Mash-Up
Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area, no 2x2 region is entirely shaded, and the other rules of each genre are met:
LITS (Top left):
Each region must contain exactly four orthogonally connected cells, forming tetrominoes. Two tetrominoes of the same shape may not share a bold border, counting rotations and reflections as the same.
Tapa (Top right):
Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the lengths of the blocks of consecutive shaded cells in the (up to) eight cells surrounding the clue.
Canal View (Bottom left):
Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the number of shaded cells connected in a straight line horizontally or vertically to the clue.
Irunuri (Bottom right):
Numbered regions must contain the indicated amount of shaded cells. The shaded cells within a region must have 180° rotational symmetry around the region's center.
Very nice. Started off pretty easy with the LITS and Tapa, but then got satisfyingly tougher once I reached the Irunuri and Canal View -- I'd never done these types before. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of fun!
